I played a clarinet in high school for 4 years, but that was over ten years ago. I haven't touched a clarinet since. I always considered buying a clarinet but never did. However, I think I'll buy a tenor saxophone instead.
I went to Cosmo and Mcquade. Cosmo appears to have the most selection. They sell Selmers and Yamahas but all are over $1500CDN. Mcquade is selling a Jupiter for $1k
I'm considering buying an intermediate tenor sax, but I have no idea which model I should buy and especially what is actually a good price to pay in my area. Testing out different models probably won't help me either. I've been out of the loop on wind instruments for over 10 years. I just want a decent one that'll last and to build my skills for a decent price.
