I am looking for a suggestion for a teacher in the Fredericksburg, VA area. I am a 53 year old horn player that is wanting to move to the next level of play. I have played in about a dozen weddings, usually CCM, hymns, etc. I would call myself a copy cat in that I listen to exclusively sax musicians like Sam Levine for the CCM stuff and artists like Dave Koz, Eric Marienthal, and Warren Hill. . . . a lot! I recently recorded some music with the guys I play weddings with only to learn that I have so much to learn.

I am weak on theory, I know my basic scales, but not any of the blues, etc.

Just need some direction to move toward to become a better saxophonist. I don't need a baby sitter, just some motivation and a goal. It probably does not need to be in person, it doesn't need to be weekly, and I guess it could be on line.

Any suggestions - Glenn
