I am looking for a good Alto saxophone used or new. I play smmoth jazz and gospel music an my budget is $1,500 to $2,000. I want a very clear and center sound.
I am considering:
Used Selmer SA II
New or used Yamaha 62
New Yani 901
Used Yani 991

I am considering to buy the instrument in ebay.
Please let me any recommendations.

I played a Yamaha 62 Mark II today. Great action, but it was too tame for my liking. I'd take the Series II if you can find a good one. Never tried any Yanagisawas, though...
