Hi After getting back from a hiatus of 30 years I am getting back to the sax and to avoid making previous mistake I'll need a teacher for jazz improve. Most likely in the southern part of Portland, OR, please let me know we can always talk about (my) need! lol

Sadly, my best recommendations in Oregon are in Eugene... Jesse Cloninger and Idit Shner are both fantastic. The former used to tour with Maynard Ferguson, the latter is the sax prof at the University of Oregon, and they're married! We were all in school together at North Texas back in the day. Awesome people, musicians, and teachers. It would be worth the drive to take a lesson from either one of them every so often! But obviously someone a bit closer would be more ideal, I'm sure.
