Hi! I am asking your help to find a good refacer in Europe. I mean somebody who is also good emailer besides a high quality work on mouthpieces ; ) For many years I have been very satisfied with Brian Powell in US but nowadays he seems to be too busy. And also I have waited for my pieces for more than a year...It was Oct. 2016 when I sent my pieces to Brian. I certainly hope to get them back.

I would be also happy to avoid the customs charges when receiving stuff from US to EU. Are there different guys specialized on alto or tenor pieces? I would need help with both alto and tenor HR pieces. Do you have any suggestions?

Have you considered Istvan Gabor in Sweden http://www.saxmundstykker.dk/Istvan_Refacing.html or Edward Pillinger in England? https://pillingermouthpieces.co.uk/ ?

When I lived in Germany (20 years), I always dealt with American refacers, though. I think if I were looking for someone more local, I would ask someone at Mike Duchstein Musik in Germany http://www.saxophon-service.de/ or De Saxafoonwinkel in the Netherlands https://saxofoonwinkel.nl/en/ and ask them who they recommend. Stephan Boesken is also a hell of a sax neck maker. You might ask him also. He's probably pretty much dialed into the craftsmen. https://boesken.biz/home-en/
