Thanks Jmoen3 Have already checked that one. Actually there are two. One he already sold, and the present one is a year old "135" sliver that he's asking more for. I'm in communication with the Borgani factory and it's possible to get a new horn for less than what he wants for his year old horn...go figure! I was hoping for a jubilee in good condition for the right price. Maybe it just isn't out there right now?

I have a silver pearl OB-series that could be available. Whether it's the right price, let's chat.

It has a Borgani silver power neck, as well as a Gloger silver neck that was recently fitted. I have several mouthpieces: Phil-Tone Intrepid, Barone NY6, Meyer 5mm, etc. It is fitted with a Forza thumb hook, the original is still here too. A package deal would be beneficial to us both if you are interested.

Yeah, the price on that one does seem a bit high, but its the only one on the market practically so I guess he gets to decide the price. Didn't know the factory would ship directly? I checked their listed US dealers, and there wasn't much stock there either.

I'd definitely get in talks with Dr. G on his Borg! Good luck

Thanks, I saw lots of the pictures (including yours) in the sax family. Although looking for a suitable alto I'm also in the mode of selling off instruments that I'm not using regularly. That's sometimes hard to do as we tend to develop these "attachments" to our horns. Although I have four altos, I seldom play any of them as they just don't have the tone I'm after. In contrast I regularly play my Borg Tenor and R&C Tenor, depending on the tone quality I'm after. The Borg is more refined, but can't give me the projection and volume I occasionally require. Sopraninos are Selmer and R&C, again depending on what's called for with the R&C being louder and brighter. Sopranos are Martin and R&C, same difference. Altogether I have nine to sell and one I'd like to buy. My ideal is to have seven horns (no baritone) with backup for each except the alto. So "the family" is in a state of flux. Some would say I'm all fluxed up?

Cheers,

W
