Hi all,

Just looking for a little advice.

A local person wants to trade his Evette Alto for one (or some) of my rack boxes.

While searching for info I found this thread:
http://forum.saxontheweb.net/showthread.php?t=4871&highlight=evette

Should I avoid this sax or is it at least worth a trade of an unneeded rack box or two?

I attached pictures and the trader says the person he got it from told him it was repadded about a year ago.

Possible back up/beater horn or should I just pass?

Funny, I traded my Evette for a rack box. But mine was a tenor, didn't say Buffet on it, had nickel keys, no country of origin, played horribly sharp, had terrible ergos, and needed a repad. Was glad to be rid of it.

sorry, but what are rack boxes?
Something a sax player would rarely ever need.
