I haven't posted anything for a while. That doesn't mean I haven't been working on stuff though.

Just not really in the right space to put out a lot of new things or need to really care about what people think.

But this tune is pretty darn funky so I thought I'd throw it on the forum and see if anybody digs it.

I've got 8 tunes in the bank right now. Only 2 recordings of any of my new stuff. This one got the magic guitar sparkle on it though which really made it shine.

Thanks! That one can be hard to do. Since all the piano and sax is recorded live over top of my loop station. Sometimes something will stick out real bad or be too quiet. It's a fine art.

Been wondering where you've been hiding. You're such a talent, it absolutely amazes me, especially when you can see how you put these things together, all at once! I really think you should throw a real screaming tenor lead on top of this track, to make it rip heads apart, though. Come on man.....you can do it!

Yeah, that was the plan for this tune. It's got a sax solo and a Guitar solo. I've been writing stuff with lyrics in mind for the future.

If I can't get who I wanted to do it (see post #6) then I'm sure someone else will be able to.

I had to look up Hitting the Purple. As far as I can tell it is something with good connotations. That is not how I would describe the last nine months unfortunately.

Sorry to hear that Sean ."Us creative types" seem to live these kind of lives . But I always think along the lines of "you cant play it if you aint lived it". So it all helps in the end. God knows where I would be if I didn`t have a channel to get the muck out of my system but thats only the neg side and doesn't really detract from the high I can get with a new piece coming together.

Both the tracks would be pretty good "beats" for RnB/Rap/ acid rap/ genre melder Rhymes , but you want someone who can really do it and who has a real message . I hope you get someone soon. Your stuff deserves more exposure and would hold it`s own. I don`t need to tell you that it`s all about contacts , but it has to start somewhere.
