I started learning with it. I didn't find it very inspiring. Maybe because I am Jazz-oriented. I still have the book... My copy is twenty years old. It can't be compared with The3 art of saxophone playing. Londeix is a practice book with some theory in the beginning. Teal is a profound (theoretical) book with only a few exercises. I would recommend Teal's book very strongly. It is very good. Londeix is not my cup of tea...

Chris, are you sure you're talking about the book "Saxophone Studying Method" and not "Playing the Saxophone", also by Londeix? I didn't get the impression that the book "Saxophone Studying Method" contains any exercises, but "Playing the Saxophone" consists mainly of units of 12 to 16 fingering exercises followed by a study which incorporates those fingerings.

probably you are right. My copy has "lost" its cover. I just checked the number of pages and there was only a difference of 2 pages, so I assumed it must be the same. Sorry.
