What alternatives are available out there? I have couple of older Otto Link hard rubber soprano and also a couple of Bari sop mouthpieces and ligs that fit them fairly well, but the Vandoren has a much fatter body. My small batch of ligs do not fit this Vandoren at all.

Sorry but I hate the idea of spending around $60 for a tiny scrap of brass with the name "Vandoren" on it. Its just such a ripoff.

Thanks.

The Rico H ligature works too. It's still pretty expensive (around $35 on Amazon) for a piece of brass. But it's cheaper and beefier than the Vandoren M/O lig.
