What works for me is to take the piece to my favorite shop and try on ligatures until I find one that fits.

I think the Vandoren ligatures fit... other than that, you are on your own. One of the really adjustable ligatures like the Silverstein might work (but that is a lot of money).

Did you try some alto rovner sizes? I have some here, message me your address and of you want I will send you some to check out. If one works, you can keep it.

I played a metal v16 for many years. The v16 optimum ligatures are an exact fit for that mouthpiece. I also like the selmer 404 and FL ultimate ligature in that mouthpiece. Really any ligature that fits a metal link will work.

Rovners size "3ML" fit perfectly.

I've always used Rovner "3ML" (Dark, Light... Versa... Versa-X) on metal V16s.
