I am very happy with my Tenney Slant Sig on my Ref. 54.
But I struggle a bit with the ligature. Currently I use a Francois Ultimate, but handling is a bit tricky.
What ligature do you use, what works fine and is easy to handle?
I tried my Rovner Light, but it dampens the sound a bit in comparison with the FL.
Thank you for your help.

I bet a Selmer two screw would do it. Those are pretty nice, simple ligatures that just work. They're secure, easy to use and relatively inexpensive (compared to an Oleg or an FL, that is).

2 Screw Selmer - Doc himself let me to this conclusion MANY posts ago. I tried the FL ligatures - very awkward - I couldn't see a quick reed change happening very fast.

I've got a few different ligs that I've used on my Tenney Slant all with equal success. A Selmer 2 screw, a Vandoren Masters, and a Vandoren Optimum. I just use the Optimum with the 4 dot plate thinger...sounds good to me. They all work great though. Bonade ligs are really good too, although I've never played one on my Slant.
