I have woodstone ligatures I use for my Meyer. Will these fit? The Drake Mouthpieces look a bit skinnier from clips I've seen, more like a C*.

The mouthpiece is indeed small. My Vandoren Optimum and Bay ligatures are too big. My ultimate ligature barely fits if you push it to the back of the mouthpiece. I'm just using Rovner Dark which works surprisingly well. I have no idea of a woodstone would work but my guess is that it won't.

I am using a Theo Wanne enlightened ligature with mine (and am very happy with the combo). Alto L. The small profile works well with the taper of the piece.

Drake NY Alto comes with it's own lig... napkin ring-like ;)

I prefer to use a Rovner dark. Too much high partials feeling for me.

The Meyer Woodstone works so-so. I just have to push it back a good ways.
I'll buy the selmer type when I have a couple hundred to blow again. The Mouthpiece is amazing though.

I use a Marc Jean on mine and it sounds absolutely awesome. Not my main alto mpc, but one of the very best, up there on top, that's for sure.
