I've got one or two mouthpieces that are smaller than usual. I have a Bari hard rubber and a Brilhart Streamline (plastic?) which don't fit a standard lig.
The recommended Rovner is a 2R but if I put that on it had to be tightened as much as it'll go. It feels like it'd be better if I could tighten it a bit more but the lig won't allow it.
I'd prefer a metal lig really but don't know what will fit. I don't want to spend a fortune so I'm not looking at any of the fancy ligs.

Can anyone tell me what should fit a Bari tenor piece???

Last Bari HR I tried works good with the Dark "2R"... pretty strange the one you tired was a tad small than the standard size.

Try a FL Lig with the "level expander".

You could order a set of plates from Theo Wanne or Francois Louis, then experiment and rivet the one you like best into your Rovner. The added plate would take up space, then it would fit properly...and you'd have a new, custom, franken-lig.

Thanks for the replies. An alto lig doesn't fit - too small.

The lig I have the does go on is a C melody lig (but it only has one screw.)

I'm not keen on those FL cage ligs.
The Masters might be worth a try but don't seem to come in different sizes. Can anyone confirm if these fit?
