Got a Morgan Excalibur 8EL, I like it, powerful projection, but I've never bought a high priced MPC that didn't come with a standard lig,,,,,what do you use,,,I have had the best success with a cheap noname two screw. I also used my theo wanne enlightened lig,,it's OK

any ideas :line0::line0::space2::space2::line3::line3::space3::line3::line3::space1::space1::line1::line1::line0:

I just got one of these as well, for tenor. At the moment a Vandoren Masters for alto fits and is doing an OK job. As I dont really have another good alto lig I'll be looking to get either a new one for alto or one for tenor. Failing that I might try a few others.
I'd also be interested to hear what is working for others here.

I have a Morgan Excalibur 9 that I am using a Vandoren Optimum ligature with and it works beautifully. I believe I am using an alto sized one on my Morgan but I am not 100% sure on that.

They run small on the outside diameter...I am using a 'Harrison' Clarinet ligature on a Tenor 'EL' and some kind of a single screw Clarinet ligature on an Alto 'EL'. Raplh put a small piece of paper in the tube with each mouthpiece that had a chart of suggested ligatures. As I recall he seemed to lean towards the use of Rovner ligatures...I have never particulalrly liked Rovner's though so I stick with standard metal type ligatures. Basically, I just went through my shoebox of stuff until I found ligatures that fit well on the two mouthpieces.

Before Ralph passed away, he packed the mouthpieces with Rovener Lights. The Excalibur alto mouthpieces used a clarinet sized ligature.
