A while back I asked if anybody knew what album I could find the complete take of a version of "I Got Rhythm" from a recording of the Basie band. Prez was really on fire and I wanted the complete take because the You Tube clip I found only had about two minutes of it. Well I found it and posted it on You Tube! So enjoy!

It was recorded at the Southland Theatre Restaurant in Boston on February 20, 1940.

Beautiful! I love the fact that they keep the extra two bars at the end of each chorus, even in the blowing section. Makes it truly "I Got Rhythm" instead of just a "Rhythm Changes" tune.
