I recently got a '54 Martin tenor (which I love) but I tend to bump the high D left hand palm key while Im playing - Im sure I can "train" myself to stop doing it but is there a simple fix for this? The guy that repaired the horn said its hard to get much more spring tension in the key - to stop it opening so easily. I wondered if anybody has altered the layout of the left hand palm keys?
