Hey no disrespect to Mr Konitz intended. My point being that in no other genre of a popular nature, so to speak, does an old guy get appreciated like Konitz and others like him do. This is a very good thing.

I played a wedding gig with Dan Tepfer in Boston some years ago. He was half the age of the rest of us and twice the player, a very accomplished cat even at a young age.
