Did the repad over the weekend and played if for a bit tonight. Good solid horn. Even intonation. Much better intonation than the Newking tenor I had a couple years ago. Nice tone. I would describe it as pretty. Sweeter than my Kohlert. Not as raucous sounding. More refined. I was expecting the opposite considering the enormous bell on this thing. Biggest maw I think I've ever seen on a tenor.

Congratulations! Bundy Specials are really nice horns, particularly for the money. Mine compares very well to both my SX-90R and Couf Superba 1 for sound and intonation. You won't regret your purchase.
