While the post-war association between Amati and Keilwerth is well documented, this KW Student stencilled Amati is a new one on me. Same as the common (in Europe anyway) Corton/Lafleur/B&H 400/Powertone etc etc models from what, the late sixties onwards.

It is interesting in that it actually reads Keilwerth but is clearly 100% Amati of the time......it seems that JK really did maintain positive relations with their former associates and contracting plants (Amati, D & J) through their history, although at times there was contention.....
