Dear forum users,

Is this a fair comparison between the three instruments, soundwise?

NB: Takes 1:51 minutes to play, and the track is of "old" date (i.e not from today). I came across it while googling on the internet

https://worldwidesax.com/old/Audio & Video files/ALTO-vi,super20,26M.mp3

Only curious of the difference in sound.

I would say that the Selmer is "smooth" while the King is more "sharp". There may be better discriptions, I think

You can't tell anything by a comparison like that.

The clips don’t give anything to go on. They all sound dull and lifeless, he could have been playing any horn.

Nothing sounds real on the Internet. Too many things can affect the sound from the player to the mics to the AD converter to the compression to the DA converter to the speakers and more in between.
