This may not be the place for this, but I wanted to give some feedback on a purchase I made from saxmanpete through this forum. When the horn came in it exactly as he described. It had been re-padded, and the overhaul was good, not the best, I have taken it to my guy for some adjustments. But then again, Pete didn't say it was perfect, just that it had been re-padded and was ready to play, which it was. But there were other things that Pete did that made me feel good about the purchase. He made the deal a good one by finding a nice case and mp and including them in the purchase price. But what really impressed me was that I asked him to get the thing shipped in a hurry so I could have it for the weekend, and he did that. He made a special trip to UPS late in the day because I did not commit to buy until late. I want to thank him and recommend him to other buyers on the forum.

It's a very good thing to share also the good experiences and not only the bad ones.

My question is why play the horn up so much to sell then slam the guy. I have never done business with Pete but if I said a modern tenor was like a six, I wouldn't then come back and slam the guy after basically endorsing him. Not trolling ...a honest question.
