So I'd posted a flyer recently at the music store where I've been practicing about looking for people to start up a combo, and tonight one of the employees sent me information on a Jazz Crawl in St. Louis:

I'm thinking of checking it out, especially the jam session at the Kranzberg Arts Center, but before I did I was curious if there's anyone else here in the St. Louis area who may have sat in on it before. It's the same night and time as the blues jam I'd been going to, and while I'm having fun at the Roadhouse and it's been a great opportunity to practice improvisation with an actual band, there's also not much call for a lot of the tunes I'd really like to play.

I'll probably do like I did with the open mic at the Roadhouse and stop by a couple times without my horn just to have a listen for myself, but if any of y'all are local and might have attended before I'd be interested in hearing more about it ahead of time.
