Hi SOTW members,

I am looking for a instruments called Flute-o-phone, which Matts Gustafsson plays.

I found the photo of this instrument at saxpic.com

But I am not sure if this is the right one he plays.

If you know anything about this instrument, like how I can buy one or which one Matts plays etc... that will help me a lot.

I studied with Mats a couple of years ago.
I don't know where you got those pictures, but they're not the instrument that Mats plays. What Mats plays is either a flute or an alto flute (he uses both) with a saxophone mouthpiece jammed in where the headjoint would go (I think it's an alto mpce for the C Flute and a tenor mpce for the alto flute) . The trick is finding a mouthpiece that fits in there. You might have to put cork around the shank of a mouthpiece to get it to fit.

This is a very old thread so the chance that saxotenor will read this are very few

I've just found one of these in the NL , somebody replaced the fipple head
