I recently took in trade a tenor advertised as a Buffet stencil with the mark "Kings Musical Instruments" engraved on the bell. I can find no info on this vendor or stencil (which has no identified serial number). The seller said he thinks it's a UK store. I've been unable to find any info on "Kings" on Google or Ebay UK. It looks remarkably like a Buffet Crampon Paris Dynaction & is nickel plated. The low-end key guards are authentic looking but too small--producing warbling issues in the low B, C and sometimes C#. The felts are shaved up to the max to raise the keys but I'm looking at having to fabricate higher key guards to resolve this problem. Anyone with info re this vendor/stencil or success in solving this technical issue would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
