Stolen (along with most of our other valuables) from our home on Wednesday November 30, 2011 just south of Cambridge, Ontario (about an hour west of Toronto):

King Super 20 SilverSonic - silver neck and bell. Serial number 5003xx. Sadly very newly professionally overhauled. Stolen without its case so likely banged up now :( . Out of everything that was taken, the horn is the most sentimental and hardest to replace.

I don't have a lot of hope but you never know!

Cheers,
Katie

Make sure you contact the police and local pawn shops and music stores with the information. It worked for a friend of mine in Cambridge Ma to get his VI back just before Christmas a few years ago. Good luck.

Thank you... the info and serial numbers are part of the police report, (which they apparently send out to local pawn shops along with all the other stuff stolen) but I'm planning to contact pawn shops specifically for the horn.

It just blows my mind that people can just break down your front door and take whatever they want from your house. Unbelievable!

Very very sorry for you.
Will the Can. police share info with US colleagues across the border? this horn might be en route for Buffalo, Cleveland, NYC, Philly or Boston...
