I was the first bidder at $31. I guess I will not win.
Lots of views...

Hi all,

I am new and have been reading and learning a bunch from you all. Thanks for all the great threads and all the great info!

There are lots of people who have viewed this Saxello listing but no bids since Mother's Day, May 13th. Are people waiting for the last day or has the price risen to its max since it "will need a complete overhaul to be playable"?

It is neat to learn about things like the King Saxellos from you all. It is also really neat to see photos of vintage saxophones like this one.

Best regards,
KeeferSax
Sorry perhaps I don't know what I'm talking about.. But all that money is because of rarity or it plays really so well?!?
Ah I would like so much to be a collector.. but my budget permits me just to be a simlple player...
King Saxello

Hi, I found this site because I was researching King Saxello's. I happen to have one which was passed down from my Grandfather. I don't play but my daughter is considering taking up the instrument. However, I'm not sure if I should let her take this to school considering the prices I've seen on the web.

Does your daughter play saxophone already or is she thinking this would be a good "starter" instrument? If she plays well already, and has a need to play soprano, then you *might* consider letter her take it to school. If she doesn't play now, this is probably not the instrument for her to start on.
Little Sax is correct(nice avatar). Bob, I think it's important that you send me the Saxello and let me check it out for a few years. :)

When you get it back, it'll be in perfect condition, with all new pads, cork, and a good cleaning and regulation.
