I just bought a 2416, serial #871xxx, and it's a Super 20. Except for the engraving, it's absolutely identical to the last-generation Super 20. It plays like it too! As for value, I'd probably knock about 15-20% off the value of a mid-late 70's Super 20 just because nothing on the horn says that this is what it is, and because nobody's heard of them. Not so great if you're selling, but if you see one for sale, you can probably scoop it up for not much. I'd say a good one is worth between $1000 and $1500, but it should be easy to get it for less.
