Here is a collaboration featuring Ben Tweedt on keyboard, Mike Noordzy on bass, Dominic Palombi on drums, and myself on saxophone playing the Kenny Rogers classic "Through the Years." I can almost hear a little bit of “Have yourself a Merry Little Christmas” in there. Ojalá we will be past the worst of this by then.

Thanks! I first made a "practice" track of bass and piano, then recorded the sax part. Then sent that to mike to record bass, then Dom for the drums, then finally to Ben for the keys part.

For jazz songs where there's a lot of interaction in the solos, I always record the people that will be soloing first, then have bass/drums/keys (if not soloing) record. But for a more pop tune like this I did it a bit differently.
