Kenny G Saves A Life On Golf Course
Saxophonist Kenny G has disclosed that he saved someone's life at a recent golf tournament in California. It happened when Kenny, an avid golfer who frequently performs in tournaments, spotted someone in a catering tent having who had stopped breathing. Kenny was able to get the person breathing again. Kenny has basic life-saving skills and is knowledgeable about CPR and the Heimlich Maneuver. Kenny also has a defibrillator - which is used to restart a failing heart - at his home, but admits it was a gag gift from his wife for his 50th birthday last year.>>

Way to go Kenny! This also could be posted in the "what to get a saxophonist" gift thread.

I don't get it. I know he's got an incredibly cheesy image, and he's not exactly what I aspire to be, BUT if I could play 1/4 as well as he can, I'd be about 100000 times better than I am now... is my hearing that bad???

Ah, everyone's just jealous, and people love to have someone to hold up to collectively throw stones at. I honestly think most of the G-bashing is half in jest. Kudos to him for saving a life.

Didn't Rodney Dangerfield have a defibrillator in his golf bag in "Caddyshack 2"?

Right on man, right on. Kenny G can for sure play! With all of the law suits these days for someone that high profile, big time kudos for getting involved. Stepping up to the plate is what it's all about.

(saxphil - my comment was about Kenny G threads in general, not your post ;))

I would love to say I understand this. Does anyone understand this???:?

*edit* Wait, are you talking about the squirrel? If you are, he has done nothing to hurt anybody. (Except for Hak's mongoose, but that's an exception.)
