When I visit New York with my wife, we go to Blue Note to listen Count Basie Orchestra and after the recital I talk with the musicians, telling that I too am a profesional saxophonist here in Argentina. They play some of Basies exits, and a guy that plays the solos on the tenor sax impacted me. He was Ken Hing, a nice musician and talking with him, a nice human being. When they finish, my wife take me some photographs with him, and I talk with him about one hour, of all, gigs, music, there and here, and a lot of things. I like very much his sound and technique, and I have a good remember of him.
