Hi everyone,

I recently bought a Keilwerth 'The New King' baritone at an auction.
The serial nr. is in the 34,xxx range, so it must be from '59, if I'm not mistaken.

Here's a pic:

It does have it's dings and dents, and I had to adjust some of the keys, but now it plays fine and sounds great.

The only things that are missing are the Eb key guard (someone replaced it with a strip of sheet metal...):

And the clothes guard, including the rods:

Does anyone know where to find replacements for these missing guards?
Any tips are much appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
Wim

Yikes!

I expected it to be like the other guards...
Horrible indeed!

But thanks for the info!
