I have one of these that I am fixing up. The neck tenon is not the typical split with a screw closing the slit. This one has a solid tenon ring and a screw that tightens down from the outside, much like a setscrew application. I guess that makes it a Dorfler?

That thumb screw is missing. I tried a 10-24 and it worked but was very loose - so I started looking for a 5mm screw with a 1.0 pitch and there is no such thing that I can find.

Does anyone know what the thread and pitch should be for these? or where I might find a thumb screw?

Thanks
