The tone is really really good for a flute that cost me 450 and repairs. I'm thinking about recommending to students. Only negative is its inline which I'm not wild about but with a plug in not a hassle. K
Are you referring to the spelling? Yes, Fred Wilkins who used these in the 1960s. They are all sterling including the keys. Even so, they just don't bring the money of the Boston brands. I have one that won't sell for more than $600 with newish pads. Even the closed hole models are inline which is unusual.
If you are waiting for me to spell better, that ship has sailed. But fun is always a good thing.
