I cant wait to get my hands on it. I rather have a D but the price I got it for, I cant complain.

Can be an excellent mouthpiece. Unless you're playing 'legit' though, and with a quite hard reed, you will likely need to have this opened up. SOTW is a great resource to find one of the many fine mpc refacers who can do this for you, open it up to a D or even an E. Hopefully the additional expense will still make this purchase a good deal for you, and at least you will know you have a piece that has been brought to its best potential. Good luck.

I might give it to my little sister as an early gift if i dont like it. It will be a nice bday gift. hopefully she put more effort in school though, music is great but education is always first priority in my family.

I would leave it alone and try it for a while. Although I prefer a D, the old C* is pretty valuable and I would just wait for a real D to come along. I think there is one on ebay now.
