Vandoren Jumbo Java A 45 alto vs. CE Winds jumbo blue A 45 mainstream alto . Any one out there used both ? The Vandoren jumbo being the original and I believe the CE winds to be a copy ,other than the color is there any differences in sound , texture , playability of these pieces? The Vandoren is hard rubber ,and the CE winds is a resin of some kind . My guess would be the the original a45 Vandoren Jumbo Java would be better than a modeled after piece ,but some times improvements are made to the original, that may or may not pan out . I am interested in opinions of those who have tried these out , thanks in advance

Nobody , I expected that CE winds were used by lots of players out there ,and some body would chime in, as to if they dug um or not , their prices seem like fair alternatives to originals .

I went threw both on alto and ended up on a showboat 10M 7 piece. It has cut but alot more depth than those two. of the two I liked the black original the best K
