    • Scale

  • Current working piece.
  • Tonguing
Given enough time to practice, what else should be considered/changed on the daily?

I've never been able to get concert G2 on my tenor MPC
:cry:
I’m not truly sure if G2 is what all tenor mpc should be. I’ve seen some folks say F#.

Drop the mouthpiece only part and do long tones first. Also add some sight reading. If you’re a beginner, use a metronome.

Well this thread is surely going to be interesting. Can't wait to see all the different opinions on how to best spend practice time...
There are hundreds of posts in the archives about practice routines. Why don’t you (and the OP) do some reading and get back to us.
