Saw this dvd again today. It's from 1994 and one of my favorites. Great cast, great performances. Beware it's not your usual Hollywood movie!
Anyway it has a fine score by Joshua Redman, played by his quartet. A Russian play put up in NY, talk about contrasts.
I really like the way how Redman's music adds to the NY feeling in the movie, sorta smelting the two worlds together.
