Just received a custom tenor piece from John Thomas, website is

I oredered a .120 hard rubber piece, after finding the right size reed (Zonda 3) and a couple of hours of playing, I was very impressed.....especially for the price, $189, with shipping. The piece played very even, top to bottom, very nice tone on my Mark VI. The longer I played it, the more I liked it. For folks that need to spend a little less on a custom piece, this is definitely worth checking out.....

Alto: NY Meyer 8

i have a .125 tenor piece that John made. It is a very nice player. John pays attention to detail and is very nice to do business with him.
