I didn't know where else to post this news but both John Prine and Jackson Brown are sick with Covid-19. So far thankfully neither has succumbed.
Browne is 71 and Prine 73, so both are in the higher risk group for the disease. Additionally John Prine survived throat cancer a number of years ago and then lung cancer is now in critical condition with this Virus. He was a heavy smoker so that clearly augers badly for his survival but he made it through those two so we have to hope he can beat this too.
I personally feel terrible about both of them being ill as they have made an enormous impact on my life with their songs ever since the 70's. If you feel the same, please keep them in your thoughts.
