Man, John Ellis always sounds so damn good. I love his soprano playing just as much as his tenor playing, and that's a lot.

I got to play in a group with him a few months ago-- we were playing for our mutual buddy's wedding, he was playing tenor and I was playing keys... it was nice to basically get a year's worth of lessons on tasteful improvisation and perfect saxophone sound while partying with friends. Definitely a highlight of the year!

Victor Provost sounds fantastic too. Thanks for posting this!

Yeah, not all gigs are like that, how fortunate.
