I had the real pleasure of spending some time this past weekend with John Simon who has played with everyone from JJ Johnson, Dizzy, Artie Shaw and Lionel Hampton to Pattie Labelle, Ray Charles and George Benson and has played every major jazz festival around the world.

Ha ha ha......just kidding. John and I go wayyy back, and he's truly the real deal. As fine a human being as he is a player, and he can really play. Glad that you got to meet him.
