Can someone tell wut ligature(s) are best for JodyJazz and Meyer mouthpieces? And also wut reeds should i use on a Meyer 6m mp? -I always play on Vandoren Javas and ZZ's.

I have limited experience with the Meyer on Alto - but i've been using a Rovner Mark III lig with it and it seems to work fine (with a medium Fibercell or 2.5 Rico Royal reed). I also use a Rovner lig also on my JJ Classic 7 for bari on a Rico Royal #3.

I love my Harrison lig on my Meyer. I use RJS 2H or Legre Studio Cut 2 1/4. Loving the setup as of late.

Does it come with the mp when you buy it? Is it metal or leather? Which number Meyer should i get? What is the difference between a higher number and lower number, lets say a 5m compared to a 10m.

It should come with the mouthpiece, but be sure to ask your dealer. Try a bunch of Meyers of various sizes, like 4m, 5m, 6m, 7m. A 10m has a much bigger tip than a 5m.

Which is the difference between a higher # facing and a lower # facing? What effects would i have on the tone?
