After the early success of the Grossman Bootleg thread that was introduced last week, I'd be interested if anyone has some Bergonzi Bootlegs from the 70's and 80's. I've seen a few videos on Youtube with the Dave Brubeck Quartet and heard the Bergonzi / Guillotti duo recording off the Valdez site but I'd love to hear more.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

Probably charge you, but he did seem to have most of his recordings on CD at Jazz Vermont a couple months ago.

I like the live vibe! Studio recordings don't always have the zip of club recordings.

Why not. I do a lot of public speaking and trade magazine interviews in my day gig. Oft times, people pick these bits up and reprint across a bunch of places me or my company never intended, to include competitor sales propoganda.

I try and maintain a source library. Perhaps Jerry does too.

Have you tried dimeadozen? I'm no longer a member there but it's a great place for live boots of all genres. You have to register and be a 'paying' member via on-sharing what you download. Good system.

Possibly the audio archive at Small's Jazz Club's website has some recordings... i know they have a lot of recorded shows available to listen there.
