Hey guys and gals. I just finished up this video today and I wanted to post it. It is a very ambitious arrangement that was pretty tricky to do, but I had a blast. At least watch up till the solo cuz it gets a little crazy :p, or turn it off before, it's up to you!! HAHA. Have fun and be safe.

Very cool Simon. I really enjoyed that. Excellent playing on all chairs (and standing)
Thanks! I appreciate you checking it out. It's been a positive of COVID to not only make some videos, but get to meet and hear great players like you. I have enjoyed your sound clouds. You should start getting some vids up

Hey Simon. I’m not sure videos will happen any time soon for me. It takes me long enough to get these recordings down let alone go through all the video editing to make a decent and polished version as you do. I am looking at a Zoom Q4 or Q6 however so maybe sometime in the future. Great to meet you here too.

I understand. Videos are tough. I have cussed a lot trying to learn how to make them!! Haha.

I only have time to do 1 every week or 2 because it does up the time invested.

I've learned, and hope to keep learning, a lot of things that have made it easier and more efficient along the way.

I know some guys use their cell phone and get great results!

Anyway, if you ever decide to go for it and want some help, just reach out! I'd be glad to share some tips.

Looking forward to your next recording. I liked invitation with the flute a lot!

Great video, great playing, great arrangement - as always.
I like the instrumentation, too. So clear and crisp with bassclarinet and flute on the outside.

I tried to make a splitscreen-video this weekend, too and it drove me nuts! When I thought I made it everything was out of sync .....
So, this is really a lot a musician has to know and be able to nowadays: Arranging, multiple instruments playing, recording, audiomixing, video cutting, website hosting...phhh

Thanks for checking it out!

I really like this instrumentation as well. I call it a Jazz Woodwind Quartet :) I intend to do more arrangements for this style group.

You are correct that a musician needs to have MANY skills to get his or her music out to the world now a days!

I can help you with the syncing up, depending on the programs you are using and how you do it. Send me a PM of what you are doing and I can walk you through how I do it.

Have a good one!

it is a copy of my opinion from TOTM Tunisia thread.

Absolutely GREAT arrangement!

To feel a full force and get an ambience of concert hall I increased the volume. Wonderful piece.

Amazing stuff as I just shared in the TOTM. Phenomenal work!
Saw your other post too. Thanks for checking it out! You can take responsibility for part of it because you asked me to take part and it pushed me to make another video.

Congrats on the future baby girl too!!!
