I was wondering what some of the better known colleges that offer jazz pedagogy, or at least music education as a graduate degree. I know Eastman School of Music offers music ed, but i am unsure of their reputation.
I'm just finishing at the University of North Texas, and their new jazz studies master's degree plans have the options of performance, composition/arranging, or pedagogy as emphases. Check it out, it's got a first-rate program and the tuition is nothing compared to any of the private schools it competes with.
