I'm playing the sonata for alto saxophone and piano by wolfgang jacobi but I have a little problem
It's not very hard at all, but the second part is a 'sarabande'. I know thats an old dance (16th century I guess).. but what tempo should it be played? I've been playing it at 69 for a quarter note.. Is this about right? or should It be played at 120 or more 150 or 180... lol

A sarabande is a slow dance in three. Your tempo seems about right. Make sure you emphasize motion on the second beat of the measure, since that is a defining characteristic of a sarabande.

I agree 69 sounds like a good tempo for the second movement of the Jacobi.
