Funny, I just read a blog post about Dion DiMucci of Dion and the Belmont's fame and I listened to a song he dedicated to Sam Cooke. Apparently they worked together touring the South back in the Jim Crow days and were good friends. Dion is alive and working at nearly 81 by the way. Sounds the same as ever.
