I got only three new mouthpieces in 2018, two for alto and one for tenor. Then I sold one of my tenor saxes. I'm very happy. No need for anything new at the moment, just getting more and more comfortable with my current equipment. This year I will sell even more without getting anything new as a replacement.
On tenor I'm owning four mouthpieces at the moment and the two that I play were adjusted and perfected for me by myself. Same on alto, four pieces and the one I play is homedesigned. Then only two pieces on soprano, one self-adjusted, the other one an ordinary but good pick straight out of the shop, no further modification. I'm feeling relieved and unburdened and it's a joy to play jazz these days.

It’s good you settled on equipment. Messing around with mouthpieces can really take up a lot of valuable time. Thanks for sharing.
