Title says it all really. Technical man looked at it and said the main issue is the tarnish - and that keilwerth are known for this problem - I can easily live with that!!

So, after all that worry -seems I have a good sax that is in a good state of repair and the guard is easily fixed. Will get it back in a couple of days when I can get over there to pick it up.. Now back playing on my Conn which feels strange.

Honestly it's worse than having a small child to worry about lol!!!!!

That is great news. Also nice that you still have the Conn for the occasions when the Keilwerth throws a tantrum. :)

could not get rid of the Conn (not that I think it is worth anything) but we have been through a lot together - from trying to get any note to trying to get the right note!!!!

It;s great to hear that everything will be fine with the Keilwerth. See I told you that the problems were minor. About the tarnish, the tech is correct. My SX90 is from 1998 and my friends SX90 is from 1999 and they both have tarnish on them. It happens.

Anyway, have fun with it when you get it back.
